Terms of service

These terms apply between the company that runs Galla (see the imprint) and the organization that uses it. The person who creates or manages an organization accepts them on its behalf.

In force since Thursday, October 15, 2026

These texts are drafts until a lawyer has reviewed them; the bracketed details are filled in before launch.

1. The service

Galla is software for planning events around a guest list: guests and replies, invitations, seating, vendors, sponsors, tickets, documents and reports. Staff use the back office; guests, vendors and sponsors use the pages we host for the organization.

We may improve or change the service. We will tell owners in advance about changes that remove a feature they use.

2. Accounts

Each person signs in with their own account and keeps their password and second sign-in step safe. Owners decide who joins the organization and with which role.

You are responsible for what is done with your organization’s accounts and for the people you invite.

3. Your data

The data you put into Galla is yours. We process the personal data in it on your behalf, under the data processing agreement, which is part of these terms.

You can download a copy of all your organization’s data at any time, and delete the organization. A deletion can be taken back for 14 days; after that everything is deleted for good, apart from the invoices the law requires us to keep.

You make sure you may collect the data of your guests and contacts, and you tell them how it is used. Your guests can send you requests about their data from the event page.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Galla to send unwanted messages, to store unlawful content, to break into other accounts or to overload the service. We may suspend an organization that does, after telling its owners unless the harm is urgent.

5. Plans, trial and payment

A new organization gets a 14-day trial. After it, the organization chooses a paid plan or becomes read-only. Plans are billed monthly in advance; prices are on the pricing page and exclude VAT where it applies.

If a payment fails, the organization keeps working during a grace period, then becomes read-only until the payment goes through. You can cancel at any time; the plan runs until the end of the month already paid.

When an organization sells tickets, the money goes to its own payment account; Galla takes no fee on those sales.

6. Availability and support

We aim to keep Galla available at all times and post incidents on the status page. Support is by email, in English or French.

7. Liability

Galla is provided with reasonable skill and care. Except where the law does not allow it, our liability for a claim is limited to the fees the organization paid in the twelve months before it, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

8. End of the contract

The contract ends when the organization is deleted, whether by its owner or after a cancelled subscription has been read-only for 30 days. Before that, owners are told and can download their data.

9. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we publish the new version here with its date, keep the earlier ones, and ask everyone to accept it at their next sign-in.

10. Law

These terms are governed by French law. The courts of Paris have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country says otherwise.
